Choose the apron shape and fabric
A bib apron offers upper-body coverage and space for a visible logo; a waist apron has a different shape and available branding area. Check length, straps, ties and pockets, along with the fabric and care instructions. The right style depends on how the apron is used.
Think about staff movement and what needs carrying in the pockets. The logo should work with the apron rather than interrupt a practical feature. If you need a particular laundering temperature or specialist material, include that requirement in the brief so a suitable garment can be chosen.

Find a practical embroidery position
An upper bib position can be useful for a venue or company name on suitable styles, but available space depends on seams, straps and construction. A pocket or lower position needs its own assessment. We check access and layout before confirming the finished branding.
For a small embroidered logo, prioritise the main identity and readable lettering. A long tagline or intricate crest may need simplifying or enlarging. Supply the original artwork and approximate dimensions rather than sending only a screenshot of how it appears on a business card.

Use colour to keep the logo clear
The apron colour and thread palette need working together. A dark logo on a dark apron may lose contrast even when it matches the original brand colours. Ask about a reversed or simplified version if the design needs to stand out more clearly.
If aprons are worn over branded shirts or polos, consider whether the identities should match exactly or use complementary layouts. The garment surface may require different stitch preparation from another uniform item. We discuss those details before arranging the embroidery file.

Ordering personalised aprons
List the apron code, colour and quantity, including any different sizes or strap options. For names, connect the correct spelling to each item. If supplying your own aprons, contact us before buying or bringing them in so fabric and access can be assessed.
The quotation considers the apron, logo size, stitch count, positions and setup, with VAT and delivery where applicable. Standard one-time embroidery digitising is £25 + VAT unless an expressly included setup offer applies. The same unchanged digitised logo can be reused for repeat orders; design or significant size changes may need further preparation.

Your questions, answered
Can you embroider across an apron pocket?
The pocket construction and access need checking. Send the exact style and proposed position before deciding on the layout.
Can the apron logo match our venue logo?
Send the original artwork and brand references. We discuss a practical thread version that remains recognisable at the finished size.
Can supplied aprons be accepted?
Ask us first with fabric, product code and quantities. Suitability and embroidery access determine whether a supplied garment can be accepted.
