Choose a fleece for how it will be worn
A fleece can be an everyday indoor layer, a mid-layer under a jacket or part of an outdoor uniform. Consider the weight, collar, zip style and pockets, together with how much room is needed over a polo. A full zip allows staff to adjust the layer during the day.
Check the product’s fit and care label. Our featured PRO RTX RX402 Pro Fleece Jacket is one starting point; the wider catalogue offers other choices. A fleece should not be assumed to provide the same weather protection as a waterproof outer layer, so select clothing for the actual working conditions.

Embroidery on textured fabric
The raised surface of fleece affects small details. Clear shapes, useful lettering sizes and enough contrast help the embroidered logo read against the fabric texture. Fine outlines or tiny straplines can need a different size or a simplified version of the artwork.
We assess the design for the chosen fleece and intended position. The embroidery preparation takes fabric and stitch behaviour into account rather than simply copying the screen image. Send the original logo and any brand colour references so we can discuss a practical stitched version.

Plan a coordinated layer system
If your team wears polos, hoodies and fleeces, use the same main identity across the layers. The exact logo size may need adjusting between fabrics or positions to keep the result balanced. Record those differences with the approved order details.
For staff who visit customers, a visible chest logo can identify the business even when the base polo is covered. Names or roles can be included where suitable, but remember that zips, pockets and seams determine the available embroidery space. Include every required position in the quotation brief.

From first order to replacements
List fleece colours and sizes separately, and check the size chart for the selected style. Include your deadline and whether the clothing is part of a larger team order. We confirm stock, logo preparation and timing before production.
For repeat orders, send the earlier garment code and artwork details. The same unchanged digitised logo can be reused, although a different finished size or design change may need preparation. Follow the fleece’s care instructions and avoid treating the embroidered area differently from the garment’s stated washing and drying limits.

Your questions, answered
Can detailed lettering be embroidered on fleece?
It depends on the size, lettering and fabric texture. We assess the logo and may suggest enlarging or simplifying small details.
Is a fleece a waterproof jacket?
Do not assume so. Check the exact garment specification and choose a suitable outer layer for the working conditions.
Can fleeces be part of a workwear bundle?
Our published bundles include fleece options. Check the garment mix on the bundles page or ask for a bespoke team quotation.
